Ruth's Genealogy

“I don't know who my grandfather was; I am much more concerned to know what his grandson will be.” -Abraham Lincoln

I got a new computer last week and only got all my genealogy records transferred over yesterday. (sick as a dog with bronchitis!) Anyway, since I haven’t done much research in the past few months, I decided to go back through my entire database and check for any new data for each person.

So, I stopped off at Ancestry and put the name of my second great-grandfather, Miles Francis Stanley I, into the search box and…. a new obit popped up, from a recently added  family tree! How exciting!

Nothing new from this obit, but it is different from my other docs:

MFStanley1 unknown obit

I’m guessing it is from the Itasca, Texas newspaper of the time…
