Ruth's Genealogy

“I don't know who my grandfather was; I am much more concerned to know what his grandson will be.” -Abraham Lincoln

Several months ago, I wrote a couple of eBooks about Isaac Turner’s and Nathan Blunt Kennedy’s Civil War experiences. I created these at Lulu for free. I thought at the time they turned out pretty well.

So this morning when I read about a site for creating and storing ebooks for free, I decided to check it. I wanted to see if my eBooks would look better at the new site, Myebooks.

So I uploaded my Turner book which at 62 pages took about 45 min with my DSL connection. Not bad, I needed to clean up my house anyway. 🙂

I got an email that the upload was ready to view, so I clicked on the link. Wow! Impressive! I think the term is web 2.0. My book looks great! Check it out:

Nothing about the book has changed, but the presentation is too cool! I love the animation as I turn the pages of the book.

I don’t plan to revise anything with my first 2 eBooks. But I do plan to write a new one, probably about my McBurnetts. This site has so much to offer! I can hardly wait…!
